Portrait of Alexander Stojanovic, Visual Solutions Sales Manager at Sharp

Meet Alexander Stojanovic – Visual Solutions Sales Manager at Sharp

After a long and diverse career with well-known brands such as Brother, Polaroid, Esselte and PNY Technologies, Alexander Stojanovic found his way to Sharp – a journey that has now spanned over 15 years. Today, he works as a Visual Solutions Sales Manager, focusing on digital signage, meeting solutions and visual communication.

A role in continuous development

What motivates Alexander the most is the combination of technology, innovation and business development – and the opportunity to continuously grow alongside a rapidly evolving market.

“The opportunity to work with truly innovative products while continuously developing – both technically and within sales processes that are constantly evolving – is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role,” he says.

In addition to his role as Visual Solutions Sales Manager, Alexander also works as a product owner and pre-sales specialist, contributing to a dynamic and varied workday.

A rapidly changing landscape

Hybrid meetings, interactive environments and digital signage solutions are rapidly changing customer needs. How does Sharp respond to this development?

“By simply looking at the range of products and product groups, it becomes clear that Sharp is fully committed to adapting to the market. Our continuously expanding portfolio of products and services speaks for itself.”

Curiosity – both professionally and personally

When not travelling for work, Alexander enjoys exploring the world together with his partner.

“We are no longer in the phase of building homes, taking on new loans and balancing life with small children. Instead, we now enjoy travelling, discovering new countries, experiencing different cultures and exploring everything the world has to offer.”

What has been your most memorable trip – and is there a dream destination you still hope to experience?

Without a doubt, the most memorable trip was visiting Trinidad and Tobago. Arriving in Tobago felt like stepping back in time. In many ways, the island has preserved an atmosphere from the 1950s. While there are traditional tourist areas, much of the island offers a sense of calm, presence and simplicity that is hard to find today.

Without going into too much detail, Alexander explains that anyone wanting to step away from today’s fast-paced society should visit the small fishing villages in the south-east of Tobago and experience the event known as “Sunday School”. It represents a way of life he hopes will continue to exist, even if the future remains uncertain.

Next destination, hopefully: a road trip along the Amalfi Coast – ideally far away from the busiest tourist hotspots.
