Sharp is revolutionising the multifunction systems market for small and medium-sized work groups with its new A4 MFPs, the MX-C382SC and the MX-B382SC. Optimally suited for scanning-intensive work environments, these two model series are forerunners in a rapidly expanding segment for MFPs with fast print speeds. The DSPF document feeder enables both standard documents and special formats on special materials, such as visitor cards or plastic cards, to be scanned on both sides in a single step, ready for further processing.
Versatile little helper
In addition to printing, scanning and copying functions, these models are specialists in copying and scanning both sides of non-standard documents, such as visitor cards or driver’s licences, in a single step, meaning users no longer have to spend time making certified copies. Users also love the scan-to-me function which allows them to send scanned documents directly to an employee’s email address at the press of a button, ensuring they no longer need to search through numerous folders for the document in question.
Whether used in banks, government offices or agencies, Sharp’s new MFPs relieve employees of administrative tasks, giving them more time to provide service to customers or complete urgent projects. Precious time can be saved by producing copies of IDs in a single, uncomplicated step when signing loan agreements or mobile telephone contracts, for example. The new A4 systems’ compact dimensions make them particularly ideal for use in small offices with restricted space.
“Rapid digitalisation of different document formats is crucial in optimising work flow for many offices, especially those belonging to small and medium-sized work groups. Sharp’s new MFPs can speed up this process significantly, thus ensuring greater efficiency in day-to-day operations,” says Torsten Bechler, Information Systems Product Manager at Sharp Electronics Germany/Austria.
Dropout colour detection enables users to easily hide guide lines or borders on scanned forms, meaning that relevant content is retained, while the scan file size and amount of transmission data are reduced. This ensures faster, error-free further processing and increases work productivity.
MX-C382SC and MX-B382SC also make it possible to omit empty pages automatically when scanning.
Environmental responsibility
These space-saving machines not only work efficiently, but also manage to protect the environment while going easy on the users’ purse. Both model series have been awarded the Energy Star and the world’s most widely recognised eco-label, the Blue Angel. The current energy-saving technology in MFPs allows the user to specify how quickly the machine should go into energy-saving mode when it is not being used. Energy-saving mode can also be set manually if required.
Performance that impresses
Sharp OSA open system architecture modules are already pre-installed and enable MFPs to be integrated quickly and directly into an existing office network. This ensures that an MFP can be tailored to a company’s individual requirements and assists in further automation of document work flow.
